Mid-Semester Update

Hi everyone!

We are a little behind on keeping up with our blog, but internet has been very limited here in Peru. I hope you were all able to see the video update we put on Facebook, and if not here is a link: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10203672076388931

We have been very blessed, challenged, and strengthened in our time here, and thank God for bringing us here everyday. So far, we have taken classes on The Life of David, Ruth, Biblical Counseling, Isaiah, and we have Daniel coming up next. Danielle and I also stay very busy as I am working construction to help build the Bible college, and Danielle is always cooking for everyone here. She has been in charge of breakfast and has been doing a great job. Last week she gave me the meal and ingredient list for the week so we could buy what we needed, and she wrote it all in Spanish without help. She has come so far from the time we first arrived almost 4 months ago!

One of the big highlights of our ministry has been the mission trips we have taken to a town called Chilete. God has opened doors and prepared hearts for the Gospel as we have seen an amazing openness and response among the people. A few have come to the Lord, and many have been showing up for our events and Bible studies. We are planning on making monthly trips, and are praying for God to call someone to start a church there, so the people could be fed the Word of God regularly and loved continually. Please keep this in your prayers!

Finally, we are excited to have been invited to help lead the Youth Summer of Missions program here in Peru where we will have high school students come from all over the world to take classes on the Bible, evangelism, and Spanish, and then we will travel Peru sharing the Gospel and ministering alongside the different churches and works the Lord is doing here in Peru. We can’t wait to see what God is going to do with that program.

So, that’s it for this update as time is limited. We love and miss our everyone back home and the family we now have in Chile, and we keep you in our prayers. Thank you for all your support and prayers, we are so grateful!!
