Merry Christmas!

Thank you for praying for us!

Praying you have a wonderful Christmas!

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, andcoming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”   Philippians 2:5-8

Every Christmas I am amazed when I think about how far Jesus went to save you and me from our sins. God Almighty chose to be born a helpless infant, and took on the whole package of weakness and human flesh. He didn’t have to, but He did… for me and for you.

Christmas can be a crazy time, but I pray that we will all rejoice in the strength of our Savior’s love for us, as we remember that He came to this earth and was named Jesus because He would His save people from their sins.

Hosanna!

A few things we are thankful for:

Jesus. That we have a Savior who loves us, and came to this world to save us from our sins.

Family. We were blessed to spend Christmas with our families for the first time since 2012. We have had a great time, and I think Abby is the most spoiled child ever.

Children. Abby is growing up fast, and she is so full of energy and activity. She is a social butterfly, and she waived to the church tonight as I took her out of the service for being a little too excited. Also, we are blessed and excited to welcome baby Noah to our family very soon. ETA: April 30, 2017.

2017. As we get ready to turn the page on 2016, we are gearing up for our return to Peru and the mission field. It will be filled with conferences, discipleship, missions trips, growing family, new semesters, new students, new challenges, new joys, and much more!

Thank you for being a part of our family wherever you are this Christmas. May God bless you, and fill you with His love this Christmas and into the new year!

Love,
The Kilgus Family
